A brief description of other sources of electricity not specified above:
JCP&L is part of First Energy, which sources 71% of our energy. They report solar, wind and hydro as a combined number. That has been reported here under hydro. Other is for oil. See https://www.firstenergycorp.com/content/fecorp/about/generation_system.html.
RVCC purchased 24% wind energy RECs in FY2014.
The college does not own SRECs for on-site solar, but STARS directed RVCC to include it here.

A brief description of other sources of building heating not specified above:
Other is waste heat from cogeneration plant, which is used to heat campus hot water loop. Gas includes science lab usage (same meter).
Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
For conditioned floor area, removed 50,000 sq ft of Phys Ed building (not including Facilities offices). Lab space is half of Science building. Other energy intensive space is half of a floor of the West building for computer labs (7500), plus the data center (1000) and the cafeteria kitchen (3000). The college purchases 35% wind energy in addition to the mix from JCPL.
