A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation:
Student orientation covers RVCC’s sustainability program including reviewing recycling, composting, solar panels, co-generation facility, use of recycled materials. They also discuss the Bateman Center’s LEED certification and our agreement with the EPA. RVCC is starting to offer orientation for transfer students in the 2014-15 academic year.
