A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:
At the beginning of the academic year (faculty) and at the beginning of each new employment cycle (every two weeks), the sustainability manager provides a training presentation to all new employees. This training addresses the University's Sustainability and Climate Action Plan, which includes the definition and a discussion of how the triple-bottom line applies to developing a sustainable university. In addition, the presentation covers the history of sustainability at the university, a summary of our programs and successes, campus sustainability resources, and instructional information on sustainable behaviors on campus.
