Documentation

A copy of the institution’s inventory of its sustainability course offerings and descriptions:
Do the figures reported above cover one, two, or three academic years?:
One

A brief description of the methodology used to complete the course inventory :
A inter-disciplinary faculty team reviewed 2021 - 2022 Academic Course Catalog for course descriptions that include sustainability. The 2018 course inventory was used as a baseline and was confirmed in the 2021 course catalog. Where necessary, these faculty team members inquired with Department Chairs and Faculty Instructors regarding learning outcomes of specific courses. In addition, the faculty review team included all courses that qualify for the Undergraduate Certificate in Sustainability and Environmental Studies and all courses that faculty instructors revised during the latest Sustainability Across Curriculum Workshop.

Additionally, the Office of Sustainability collaborated with the Office of the Provost to send an inquiry to all academic departments to inquire about sustainability content in curriculum and research. Responses were limited and are included here.

How were courses with multiple offerings or sections counted for the figures reported above?:
Each course was counted as a single course regardless of the number of offerings or sections
