The living wage in Blacksburg-Christiansburg-Radford is $15.85. In order for total compensation to reach living wage, the lowest hourly rate is $10.71. There are 47 employees who are paid a lower hourly rate than this. RU is at 96%. The percentage we budget for benefits is 48% of salary, which includes health insurance, life insurance, leave and retirement contributions.
