A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
The Radford University campus, located in the City of Radford in southwest Virginia, totals 204 acres in the City of Radford. Most students live in one of the 15 university residence halls or in private accommodations within walking distance of the campus. The university grounds and facilities are conveniently arranged, beautifully maintained, and effectively designed to meet the academic, personal, and extracurricular needs and interests of the students.
For this report, the institutional boundary includes all Radford University buildings under operational control of the university. This is inclusive of all buildings and grounds on the main campus, as well as the University's 400 acre Selu Conservancy, along with all full time students, faculty, and staff. Also within the boundary is 66,571 square feet of University-leased space off-campus. There are satellite campuses but these represent shared space controlled by another entity such as the Roanoke Higher Education Center and the Southwest Virginia Higher Education Center along with others in Danville and Martinsville.
