Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
We don't have any central database to track community service. RU's Division of Student Activities is in the process of implementing this tracking system. Additionally, Greek Life has not kept a record of community service. RU has new leadership in these areas this year.
The number reported here is very conservative, not comprehensive, and only reports confirmed participants in specific activities and events. These include Student Government Association, Selu Garden and Service Club, RU Gives Back, MLK Day of Service, RU Rugby, and the Food Recovery Network.
The information presented here is self-reported. While AASHE staff review portions of all STARS reports and institutions are welcome to seek additional forms of review, the data in STARS reports are not verified by AASHE. If you believe any of this information is erroneous or inconsistent with credit criteria, please review the process for inquiring about the information reported by an institution or simply email your inquiry to stars@aashe.org.
