The JD/MCEP program combines the study of environmental law with the essential skills necessary to shape environmental policy and address issues of racial and economic justice. The comprehensive curriculum includes environmental research and writing, policy design, climate justice, structural inequality, public participation and fostering consensus-building.

The effect of fossil fuel use on our planet combined with the rise of solar, smart-grid and other sustainable technologies has made the field of energy law more complex—and more important—than ever. The unique Dual-Degree JD/Master of Energy Regulation and Law program, a partnership between Quinnipiac Law and Vermont Law & Graduate School, prepares you to address the many challenges facing energy regulation locally, nationally and around the world.
