Quinnipiac released an Equity and Inclusion Report in Spring of 2021 outlining goals to foster diversity and inclusion and measuring the diversity breakdown in each school of the university for students. A breakdown of the gender and racial profile for faculty is provided as well. However, the report is not a structured diversity and equity assessment frameworks or scorecards, so it does not meet the criteria.

Based on the report, the university implemented a “Diversity, Equity, Inclusion review” for faculty in all open positions. The review occurs at each stage of the hiring process with the ultimate goal of increasing staff diversity. The Quinnipiac University First-Year Immersion (QU-FYI) program for underrepresented students was launched in the summer of 2020 to aid underrepresented groups with transition from high school to Quinnipiac with the goal of increasing retention rates.
