A brief description of the technology used:
Technology used includes motion sensors that completely shut down the cooling compressor if no motion is sensed after 1 hour. Unit will not restart the compressor until motion is sensed.
Additional savings include snack machines with LED lighting vs. fluorescent, and Coca-Cola vending machines that are programmed to shut off their lights. Decals have been placed on the machines indicating "My Beverages Are Still Cold" to make customers aware of the change.
