1st Campaign
"Live Earth-Friendly!"
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged:
In (Spring/Fall) 2019, the Sustainability Club hosted a DIY workshop series every Friday afternoon, open to all members of the campus community. Activities included making soap, organic essence perfumes, and room sprays; growing micro-greens; hand-crafting sustainable cosmetics (lip balm, masks, foot scrubs), toothpaste, laundry soap, beeswax wrap, and jewelry (e.g., earrings from old license plates); exploring beekeeping; and learning about ethical wild foraging.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Two dormitories planted native gardens, and the College Store committed to offering more sustainable toiletry items, and two Capstone research projects focused on sustainable beauty, "green" interior design, and pollinator conservation.

Better World Book Drive
A brief description of the campaign, including how students and/or employees were engaged (2nd campaign):
Faculty, staff, and students participate in an annual Book Drive that has resulted in several thousand text/reference and other books finding a new life with our contractor, Better World Books. Book collection boxes in student residence halls collect unwanted books for reuse or recycling. A Book Nook in the Student Center gives students the opportunity to drop off used textbooks for others to use.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign (2nd campaign):
The Book Drive inspired other actions toward reducing reliance on printed books; e.g., campus phone books are now exclusively online and only a small number of College Catalogs are printed for distribution.
