A brief description of the institution’s programs that help increase the diversity of higher education faculty:
With respect to the criterion for this credit which reads, "Mentoring, financial, and/or other support programs to prepare and encourage undergraduate or other non- terminal degree students from underrepresented groups to pursue further education and careers as faculty members" - we note that all students have equal access to Post-Graduate Teaching Internships at Principia College. PGTI positions are available in all academic departments and the Athletic Department "To encourage Principia College seniors and recent graduates to explore college teaching as a means of service to mankind by introducing them to the vision of Principia’s educational philosophy from a teaching perspective."
