Does the institution have a bicycle-sharing program or participate in a local bicycle-sharing program?:
A brief description of the bicycle sharing program:
Through Princeton Bike Library, Transportation and Parking Services rents out a fleet of 100 Breezer bikes, complete with front/rear lights and fenders, as well as a basket. These bikes are used but are professionally refurbished and ready to ride. Bike rental fee for the year is $40, $25/semester.
Starting the first week of each term - Fall (Sept-Dec), Spring (Jan-May), and Summer (June-Aug) - TPS will begin to issue bike rental pick-up invitations via email.
Does the institution participate in a car sharing program?:
Princeton University's Enterprise Carshare Enjoy easy access to this 17-vehicle fleet for hourly rentals, available to the entire University community. A Princeton University email is required for this service, which has partnered with Zipcar to bring self-service, on-demand car sharing to the community. This service is open to everyone; no Princeton University affiliation is required.

Fuel efficient vehicle parking is offered at off-campus University buildings. Preferential parking for carpools and vanpools is offered in 10 campus parking lots and both parking garages (82 spaces).
Does the institution have one or more Level 2 or Level 3 electric vehicle recharging stations that are accessible to student and employee commuters?:
Princeton University currently provides 20 Level II EV Charging Stations (Clipper Creek) distributed evenly between the North and West parking garages on campus. There are also 65 EV Level II Charging Stations (Clipper Creek) located in the Stadium Drive Garage. These EV charging stations are authorized by a centralized located control kiosk (Fuelforce) in each garage using a TigerCard ID – participants register online. Additionally, Princeton University’s Facilities team has provided three 120VAC Duplex outlets across graduate student housing and off-campus buildings for users’ to charge cars. To encourage University employees to live close to the University, Princeton owns and manages over 600 rental units, including both houses and apartments for those that meet eligibility requirements. The University also has a mortgage loan program to assist eligible employees in locating near the University and manages an off-campus housing database of local real estate agents and available rental units. In order to encourage employees to leave their cars at home, Princeton University developed and launched the Revise Your Ride commuter benefits program in October 2017. This program offers enhanced benefits and incentives to participate in one of five commuter programs in lieu of a parking permit: bike/walk, carpool, vanpool, transit reimbursement, or NJ Transit bus pass.
