Procurement Services actively participated in Environmental Studies 327, a class where undergraduate students explore real-life ways to improve environmentally sensitive outcomes in campus operations. Our current office supplies supplier, WB Mason, prioritizes recycled and environmentally friendly items in Princeton University employee search results and highlights these items with a green leaf icon. Our Campus Dining team rigorously tests take-out containers and other single-use items to ensure they use sustainable, recyclable, and/or compostable materials. For compostable items, Dining works with the Office of Sustainability’s S.C.R.A.P. Lab to purchase items that can be processed in the program’s aerobic in-vessel rotary drum composting system.
