A brief description of the graduate minor, concentration or certificate:

The graduate certificate in Science, Technology, and Environmental policy (STEP) is an interdisciplinary program designed to train graduate students in facilitating conversations between technical experts and policy makers. It provides a systematic introduction to the field of science policy analysis in order for students to develop a deeper understanding of current scientific, technological, and environmental issues and potential local, national, and international responses. The certificate is offered to graduate students enrolled in the MPA, MPP and Ph.D. programs through the Woodrow Wilson School, and to other Princeton graduate students, through the PEI/STEP fellows program.
