A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Princeton’s main campus consists of approximately 9.6 million square feet of space in more than 200 buildings on 690 acres.

For greenhouse gas emissions calculations, it also includes buildings that house significant campus energy-consuming programs that were once fed by these systems but have been moved off the main campus since 1990, including 701 Carnegie Center and the High Performance Research Computing Center.
