Sustainability Staff Ambassadors

A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The Ambassadors attend seasonal lunch and learn sessions during the academic year. There are four sessions total including, an orientation that covers the history of sustainability initiatives at the institution and the progress made toward reaching the University’s sustainability goals; how to incorporate sustainability at work; how to live sustainably at home; and a student-led green tour of campus.

Sustainability Ambassadors are either appointed by their department directors to participate in the program or are self-nominated. Additionally, a growing number of Ambassadors are referred to the program by alumni of the program.
