A brief description of the sustainability newsletter or social media platform:
The Office of Sustainability distributes a monthly sustainability newsletter as well as a weekly student newsletter. The monthly newsletter features news, updates, Campus as Lab updates, upcoming events, new videos, profiles of community members and more. The weekly newsletter is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students and includes the week’s events, announcements, a sustainability tip and news articles from outside the campus.
All monthly newsletter articles are available for full viewing on the Sustainability website.

The Office of Sustainability maintains Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube accounts. Each of the accounts focuses on sustainability as it relates to Princeton and often highlights global and local initiatives and topics. Additionally, the Office uses the accounts to publicize any related campus events and to highlight student initiatives and University sustainability progress. The YouTube account houses videos created by the Office of Sustainability’s Communications Specialist as well as student groups. Videos range from updates on the Sustainability Action Plan, sustainability features on campus, sustainable living and more.

The University currently has installed on campus three Wattvision dashboards that highlight sustainable building features and live data. In addition, in virtually all restrooms on campus, dual-flush signage has been installed atop toilets that provides instructions for their use.

Princeton’s Campus Green Tour which highlights sustainable operational and academic initiatives, is available online. The online green tour includes a google map with several stops, as well as student-created videos of select stops. Additionally, the Office of Sustainability provides year-round campus Green Tours for the campus community. These tours are led by students or Office staff members.

The Office of Sustainability offers a Green Your Dorm guide with tips on how to incorporate sustainability into the everyday student residential living experience. The guide is distributed to all first-year students during Orientation and the EcoReps refer to the guide during sustainability study breaks.
