Manzanita Remodel Sept. 2022-June 2023 (Historic Building - subject to Historic Preservation Master Plan, attached document)

  • All carpeting removed and maple hardwood floors repaired (130 sq m. replaced with new
    hardwood). Flooring sanded and refinished.
  • Entire interior repainted- low to zero VOC paint supplied.
  • Repurposed insulation use in ceiling between lower and upper floors of the Chapel for improved
    acoustics in classrooms/common area on lower floor and increased energy efficiency
  • Base and casing removed and replaced with new lumber- stained and finished for best possible
    match of existing material.
  • Heating radiators removed, refinished, and re-installed on upper and lower floors in the Chapel.
  • All bathrooms stripped of old flooring, fixtures, toilets and vanities and outfitted with more
    energy efficient fixtures.
  • Existing light fixtures throughout the entire building replaced with more energy efficient LED fixtures/lighting. New LED lighting added where needed.
  • All operable windows in the Chapel removed and replaced with new, more energy efficiency, zero maintenance operable windows for natural ventilation.
  • Various wood doors replaced/added to match historic wood doors.
  • Kitchen fully remodeled, flooring, reconfiguration, new cabinets, countertop, sink and fixtures.
  • Custom “live edge” bar top installed that was upcycled from Welcome Center remodel in 2022.
  • All new roller shade window coverings throughout the building
  • Repairs to damaged walls and ceilings due to water past water leaks
  • Repair, refinish and repaint exterior south and west wood siding/trim window casings.
