Narrative and/or website URL providing an overview of the institution’s sustainability projects fund:

Students pay $50 per semester as a fee to contribute to the Sustainability Fund. Initially, students voluntarily created this fee to pool resources solely used for sustainability improvements on campus or within the community. Currently, a portion of these fees is used to support our Sustainability Coordinator, Renewable Energy Credits, and other sustainability-related projects through the Student Sustainability Fund. Students can also apply to access the Sustainability Fund for creating a sustainability-related project that will positively impact the campus and the broader community.

Narrative outlining the multi-stakeholder decision-making process used to determine which projects receive funding through the sustainability projects fund:

The Sustainability Council - consisting of several faculty/staff members and students engaged in sustainability on and off campus - evaluates applications based on their relevance to sustainability and the added value of the proposed project or event to the Prescott College sustainability mission. The application considers the project or event's cohesiveness, feasibility, and planning. It also estimates the potential impacts the project/event could have on campus and/or the broader Prescott College community. The application is attached to additional documentation.
