The college does offer professional development funds to faculty but there is no stipulation that they are for sustainability-specific endeavors. We also do professional development trainings. But again, they are not always, and have not been yet, focused on sustainability.

After speaking with a variety of undergraduate and graduate program directors, it was clear that no specific incentives met the definition of AASHE's: "release time, funding for professional development, or trainings." However, conversations about course development incentives sparked an interest among several faculty members to have professional training and development opportunities in the future.
