Sustainability-focused courses have "sustainability" or "sustainable" in the course title or as a keyword in the course description within the context of addressing ecological and socio-economical challenges. Sustainability-inclusive courses were counted if a course description states that a course includes a unit or module on sustainability, addresses a sustainability challenge, involves one or more sustainability-focused activities, or integrates sustainability challenges, issues, and concepts throughout the course.
In future course designations, Prescott College will add a system feature that allows faculty members to designate whether or not their courses are "sustainability-focused" or "sustainability-inclusive." This will enable us to track the sustainability courses offered at our institution with greater accuracy.

A course inventory was conducted before each semester began. Some courses that were listed ended up being dropped due to, for example, low enrollment. Our submission reflects ALL courses that are originally listed on the course catalog prior to any changes.
