A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
PSC Interns lead cultural, institutional and community change for a ‘greener’ Pratt. The interns staff the Research and Resource Center and act as both researchers and sustainability consultants to PSC visitors, namely other Pratt students. Students are hired by the Director of the PSC. Interns are taught about sustainable design strategies and the materials research guide used. These students, representing a diverse cross-section of art and design disciplines, are trained to provide guidance for other students to implement sustainable resources and thinking into their academic work.

The Pratt Sustainability Center is an integral part in supporting a number of academic programs' sustainability learning outcome and the PSC Research interns are key to that implementation. Our interns interact and support over 500 students per semester and are trained to advise visitors to PSC on sustainable design resources and methodologies. The Target audience is students from programs and classes who are required to visit PSC, as well as those students who share an interest in sustainable design.
