A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

Confidential counseling services are available to all enrolled Pratt students. Licensed mental health professionals including psychologists and clinical social workers provide all services. Pratt also uses a psychiatrist to provide further evaluation for psychotropic medications when needed.

Pratt also offers many programs through the Resilience, Wellness and Wellbeing Project. This includes several opportunities for group reflection and mindfulness practices and is open to all Faculty and staff. Faculty and staff - specific programing is made available throughout the year. Examples:
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction sessions, daily lunch time mindful breath breaks, Friday mornings Meditate with Me, and Monday mornings Breathe with Me. The Health Promotion and Well-being Calendar lists a variety of yoga, and community well-being sessions, resources, and actions that community members can take for self-care.

Pratt Institute prohibits the use of all smoke, vape, and tobacco products on campus. This includes all Pratt buildings, grounds, vehicles (including inside personal vehicles parked on the grounds), and in front of or around campus entrances.
