Has the institution banned or eliminated the on-site sales and distribution of at least one type of single-use disposable plastic?:
Yes
A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
In Jan. 2020 Pratt banned the sale of single-use plastic water bottles. Single-use water bottles have been entirely removed from the cafeterias, cafes, stores and vending machines on the main Brooklyn Campus. Re-usable water bottles are being sold at these retail locations, where students, faculty and staff are encouraged to use bottle-filling stations across campus.
