Partnership for Academic Leadership in Sustainability (PALS), within the Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD). This partnership has had several meetings at member campuses (including Pratt as recently as 2014) and PALSX virtual meetings to share knowledge and strategies about expanding sustainability at art and design schools (2017). Since then, the PALS coalition continues to engage its members via AICAD and its email listserv.

Global Design Challenge organized by Biomimicry Institute

A team of Pratt Institute design students has been named as a finalist in the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge for a proposal to use these adaptations of the natural world to reduce the loss of perishable produce. The winners were selected from 100 teams representing 17 countries.
