A brief description of the institution’s professional development opportunities on sustainability in the curriculum:

Pals is a cohort of educators that represent 33 independent art and design colleges across North America. The PALS fellows have collaborated to advance sustainability in art and design education by creating events, exhibits and processes that share and leverage their collective resources. These events and activities are open to other faculty and staff from other institutions.

Pratt Started the Partnership for Academic Leadership in Sustainability (PALS).

PALS is within the Association of Independent Colleges of Art & Design (AICAD)

PALS has several meetings across member campuses and PALSX virtual meetings to share knowledge and strategies about how to expand sustainability in the context of an art and design school in 2017.
