Campus as a Living Learning Lab - Recovering and Using On Site Materails for Academicic and Administration Projects
A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome that outlines how credit criteria are met and any positive measurable outcomes associated with the innovation:
The Pratt CALLL - Campus as a Living Learning Lab tries to promote academic learning with local sustainable practices.
On project has been working to recover and use on site materials in both the academic areas and admin areas.
Two examples are:
- recovering wood from a tree removal project and using the material for art work in our student labs
- recovering timbers from a house renovation and using them for lounge area seating.
