A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:
Portland State University campus provides Baccalaureate, Masters, Doctorate, and Certificate programs.
The campus includes integration with other area institutions, including a School of Public Health (a partnership with Oregon Health Science University) and a well known Speech and Hearing clinic providing diagnostic and interventions services for children and adults with communication challenges, a forthcoming shared building with OHSU, Portland Community College and the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, a shared building with City of Portland Bureau of Development Services and the Engineering School, and a connected building between the school and the Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability.
Our students and faculty put theory to practice and work with businesses, nonprofits, civic groups, and government agencies to solve real problems facing our region. Harnessing the strengths of community engagement, PSU has been established as a leading urban research university.
The university is an urban campus located in the heart of downtown Portland, Oregon. The institutional boundary includes 50 acres of the main campus.The campus does have some leased storage areas (such as library warehouse and boathouse), but these areas were not included in this report.
