A brief description of the assessment process and the framework, scorecard(s) and/or tool(s) used:
In February 2018 PSU sent out a campus-wide climate survey. The survey was voluntary and sent out to all students, faculty and staff. There were four surveys sent out specifically addressing the unique roles of the various communities. The four surveys were: Student, Staff, Faculty, and Administrators. This is the first time PSU has initiated a campus-wide climate survey. Questions addressed students' feeling welcome on campus based on identity as well as questions about discrimination, harassment and bias incidents.
In 2015, PSU began a year long strategic plan process, working with a variety of stakeholders across campus. The PSU Strategic Plan was officially adopted in 2016 and has an equity lens framework with all goals having a defined equity consideration and objective.
