PSU's Environmental Health and Safety department manages a variety of workplace health and safety programs and initiatives, including OSHA-required programs, safety trainings, ergonomics assessments and support, indoor air quality evaluations and more. Workers from across campus are engaged in monitoring and advising on health and safety programs through the Campus Safety Committee. Committee members represent the major activities and operations on campus, and include union represented employees and management-level employees. The Committee is tasked with reviewing safety incidents on campus, conducting safety inspections, and directing feedback on campus health and safety issues to campus administration
