In February 2018 PSU sent out a campus-wide climate survey. The survey was voluntary and sent out to all students, faculty and staff. There were four surveys sent out specifically addressing the unique roles of the various communities. The four surveys were: Student, Staff, Faculty, and Administrators. This is the first time PSU has initiated a campus-wide climate survey.

In 2015, PSU began a year long strategic plan process, working with a variety of stakeholders across campus. The PSU Strategic Plan was officially adopted in 2016 and has an equity lens framework with all goals having a defined equity consideration and objective.

The campus-wide climate survey just closed last month. A committee is now working on analyzing the data which will be used to help shape initiatives and policy and programs on campus.

Through the PSU Strategic Planning process a committee was formed to revise the Diversity Action Plan. The new Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Plan (DEIP) has been drafted and is currently being reviewed by administration and will be shared with the campus community for feedback.

Yes

A brief description of how the assessment results are shared with the campus community:

A report for the campus-wide climate survey will be shared with campus once the completed (anticipated to be complete by June 2018) and will be shared via email and be available publicly on Global Diversity and Inclusions website

A draft of the DEIP will also be available publicly on the website and will take the place of the Diversity Action Plan Progress Report.
