Tree Campus USA: PSU has been designated a Tree Campus USA for the past three years. In January 2018, PSU received it's most recent certification. https://www.pdx.edu/news/arbor-day-foundation-names-portland-state-tree-campus-usa

Bee Campus USA: PSU was certified in 2016 and maintains a campus apiary in our community orchard. PSU is currently working on the re-certification process. https://www.pdx.edu/sustainability/news/psu-welcomes-bees-its-pollinator-friendly-campus
