A brief description of the certificate program(s), including the year the program was created:
Lean Leadership:
The Lean Leadership series gives students the knowledge to introduce behavioral change and foster a continually improving, reduced-waste environment — especially for senior managers, supervisors, continuous improvement coordinators, and team leaders. The Lean philosophy, though developed and popularized by Toyota, has vastly expanded from manufacturing across all industries.
Lean Practitioner:
Designed and taught by experts with over 30 years of Lean experience across various industries, including manufacturing, healthcare, and government, this program will give you the information and skills necessary to begin your Lean journey. If you already have a baseline knowledge of Lean, it will ensure that you have the expertise to implement Lean for sustainability. The Lean Practitioner program is presented in collaboration with NW Center for Performance Excellence.
Sustainable Supply Chain Management:
Found in nearly all industries, there are 130,000+ jobs for supply
chain logistics experts, managers, and other professionals. Supply chain and logistics professionals across the entire supply chain (procurement, manufacturer, distribution, transportation, warehousing, and retail) are increasingly part of their organization’s strategic management teams. As a result, they often can benefit from additional education and credentials to assist them in their current position or to advance their careers. Our SCM certificate program will help you expand your knowledge base with relevant, practical curriculum that builds your skills in this dynamic field. All of our courses are taught by experienced SCM industry professionals. Come to one of the country’s most innovative universities to launch or advance your career!
