A brief description of the employee wellness program, policy, or practice:
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a program designed to assist employees in identifying and resolving personal concerns, including, but not limited to stress, financial distress, workplace conflicts, family conflicts, marital pressures, substance dependency, loss and grief, legal issues, or other personal challenges that may affect job performance. In addition to 24-hours crisis counseling, the EAP offers life balance services including a free half hour consultation followed by discounted fees for legal, mediation, financial, and/or identity theft issues. Also, a free, simple will preparation kit is available for the member to complete and submit to be reviewed by a legal professional.
