A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
There is a weather sensor on the Walk of the Heorines fountain for it to shut off when the wind speed gets too high. Besides the wind sensor at Walk of the Heroines the irrigation box there has a rain sensor to delay irrigation after rain.
Funds were recently secured for central irrigation and the system will be installed in May, 2011.
