A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about student commuting:
All students were asked to participate in a survey via email. We're looking into a way of improving the response rate, which has dropped in recent years from around 10 to 2%. A representative sample is not achievable with an institution of our size.

5207 students responded to an email survey finished in May of 2020. It was opened in October and cut short because of COVID-19.

100% of full-time faculty are surveyed annually.
On only one campus (Southeast), is the response rate of the faculty under 95%. Southeast's response rate is 86%.

We don't ask about zero emissions vehicles.
