DEI requirements were integrated throughout the request for quote as part of deliverables in stakeholder engagement, in the plan itself, and into minimum characteristics.
PCC included a requirement to take an equity conscious and environmental justice approach throughout the process, including in stakeholder engagement and in selection of adaptation and mitigation strategies. This includes using a PCC-developed equity guide. We also included experience centering DEI in planning processes in our scoring criteria.
