PCC Green Teams
A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
PCC Green Teams are self-organized groups of employees committed to advancing sustainable practices in their office, department and/or building. These sustainability champions recognize the importance of staff and faculty commitment in order to meet the college’s progressive sustainability goals.
Green Teams meet about once a month to connect and celebrate their accomplishments, reflect on shortcomings, and share ideas. These meetings also serve as a platform for collaborative education, community building, and innovation.
Sustainability staff dedicate time to promote and advance the program. Sustainability staff coordinate the meetings.

A brief description of the employee educators program’s target audience (1st program):
All staff are targeted through the green teams. Programs like meatless monday take place in public spaces during lunch hour and are accessible to all staff on site. Employee educators also assist with college wide virtual programming such as Earth Day and the Ecochallenge.
