Associated Students of PCC (ASPCC) is the college's student representative body. ASPCC includes a district student council as well as campus-based student governments. There is a student representative from ASPCC that sits on the College Board of Directors. All positions are one year terms.

A chairperson to serve as the student representative on the College Board of Directors is elected to represent the District Student Council through an application process. The District Student Council (made up entirely of PCC students) interviews applicants to serve as the District Student Council Chair for the following academic year.

Portland Community College Federation of Classified Employees (PCCFCE) represents all classified employees at the College. Federation members are PCC employees that negotiate the contract which covers the pay, benefits, working conditions, rights and responsibilities for all employees. The Executive Council is elected by federation members and the President participates in Board of Director meetings on behalf of PCCFCE.

Portland Community College Federation of Faculty and Academic Professionals (PCCFFAP) represents Faculty (both full time and part-time) and Academic Professionals at PCC to improve working conditions at the College. The Executive Council is elected by federation members and the President participates in Board of Director meetings on behalf of PCCFFAP.
