Many of our LEED buildings have green building signage, highlighting things like resource-saving features, green roofs, renewable energy and others. We are also in the process of upgrading and expanding our educational signage as well as including occupant tips.

Sustainable Food Systems Information

Dining Services highlights some of the sustainable features of their products including those that are fair trade and locally-sourced with signage. We also have Meatless Monday promotional signage with facts on meat consumption and its associated environmental and social impacts.
At Rock Creek, we have detailed signage for our pre-consumer waste collection system as well as how our learning gardens grow produce for use in our cafeterias. At our Sylvania campus, we have signage around efforts to procure at least 30% of our food from sustainable sources. There is signage at all of our campuses advertising some of the sustainable vendors, such as coffee.

Our Parking and Transportation department details our intra-campus shuttle system, alternative transportation options and carpooling and biking incentives for students, faculty and staff.
