A brief description of how the physical campus plan or amendment includes sustainability:
There is not a physical campus master plan however, with the Bond, master plans for campus renovations and new buildings were developed, often referred to as the Campus Bond Master Plans. Each plan incorporates sustainability at a very high level. For example, new and renovated buildings must be completed at at least a LEED Silver certification although Gold will be the goal for new buildings. Apart from building, water, and energy efficiencies, the Bond improvements have planned for and/or installed: rainwater catchment systems, storm water runoff mitigation measures, renewable energy installations, green roofs, and public transit-oriented development.
