PCC does recognize sustainability in one of the core outcomes for the college. The second core outcome states that graduates should be able to "Apply scientific, cultural and political perspectives to natural and social systems and use an understanding of social change and social action to address the consequences of local and global human activity". So in that way, all students are covered by a learning outcome that addresses sustainability. However, there are 53 different courses that specifically include an aspect of sustainability knowledge in their learning outcomes. These 53 courses cover a span of 19 different SACs (or departments).
