Has the institution implemented a campus-wide inventory system to facilitate the reuse of laboratory chemicals?:
Yes
None
A brief description of the program:
As of this writing, the PCC District does not have any single location that houses a district inventory of laboratory chemicals.
We are very close to a district-wide system – each campus currently documents hazardous materials and in theory one can access this from anywhere. However, it is thus-far incomplete, and there has been no effort yet to consolidate/reuse chemicals district-wide. Therefore, reuse of laboratory chemicals varies by each individual campus.
