A brief description of the program:
Bonneville Environmental Foundation (BEF) is the only provider with a complete menu of
solutions to help businesses voluntarily balance their energy, carbon and water footprints.
As an entrepreneurial nonprofit, we want to build a viable market that supports our transition to
a clean energy, low carbon future, a healthy freshwater ecosystem and sustainable freshwater
resources. This vision led us to catalyze the Renewable Energy Certificate market years ago, to
establish the first ever 10-year funding model for watershed restoration projects, to build our
nationally-awarded renewable energy education program, and to recently introduce Water
Restoration Certificates® to the business sector.
