The Dean's Office distributes Curriculum Development Grants designed to support pedagogical innovation. These grants are awarded competitively by the Teaching & Learning Committee to faculty who are developing or substantially revising courses. For 14-15, special consideration was given to proposals intended to support the development of community partnership courses, increased diversity in the major, or multiculturalism in the curriculum.

Development grants are in the $500 to $3000 range, with funding of up to
$500 for books, DVDs, and software for any one class
$1000 for student assistants for any one class
$800 for field trips
$850 for travel expenses
