Does the institution make cultural competence trainings and activities available to all students?:
Yes

A brief description of the cultural competence trainings and activities:

New Student Orientation contains a day of dialogue, which includes a student performance to raise awareness of sexual assault in colleges, a small group discussion on college policy, a small group discussion on diversity, and faculty-facilitated small group discussions on the first-year book, which often touches on multicultural issues. Training for sponsors, who serve as live-in mentors to freshmen halls, Resident Advisors, Orientation Adventure trip leaders, and support group mentors includes large components of cultural competence training; these on-campus leaders in turn educate their mentees and residents.
