The "Fondation et alumni de Polytechnique Montréal" has a "Comité de placement et d'investissement responsable" (Responsible Investment Committee).
MANDATE AND RESPONSIBILITY OF THE RESPONSIBLE INVESTMENT COMMITTEE
a) Recommend policy and monitor its application;
b) Review the policy each year, in particular reassessing the expected return, risk tolerance and long-term asset allocation, taking into account the evolution of the funds and other relevant information;
c) Recommend fund managers and, if necessary, any expert or adviser whose expertise is required;
d) Recommend the custodian who will keep the assets of the funds;
e) Quantitatively and qualitatively analyze the performance of fund managers at least once a year;
f) Determine the securities of the companies to be excluded and ensure that the managers respect the instructions;
g) Carry out any other study or analysis considered useful or necessary for decision-making;
h) Review and recommend a procedure for rebalancing, when required;
i) Report to the Board and obtain its approval, when required.

Pension Plan Responsible Investment Committee:
The Pension Plan of the Corporation has a Responsible Investment Committee (PP RI Committee) which reports to the Pension Plan Retirement Committee (PP Retirement Committee). The mandate of the PP RI Committee is to maintain a watch on new legislation and new trends in responsible investment, prepare and send an annual questionnaire on responsible investment to pension fund managers, and report regularly to the PP Retirement Committee.

CIR of Fondation et alumni de Polytechnique Montréal:
Over the past 3 years, the committee has met between 1 and 3 times a year in order to carry out its mandate. The actions taken are those listed above, but more recently, a particular attention has been paid to optimizing asset allocation and reviewing the investment policy to take ESG factors into account.

CIR of Pension Fund:
- Explore the possibility and relevance of further integrating responsible investment within the Pension Fund
- Draft Responsible Investment Guidelines, which were adopted by the PP Retirement Committee in September 2020
