In the pursuit of our mission to protect and improve Mount Royal, Les amis de la montagne maintains productive and inspiring relations with a broad network of organizations. Together, we maintain an open dialogue about the preservation, development and use of Mount Royal and its public spaces, thereby allowing Les amis de la montagne to better represent the interests of the mountain while contributing to the advancement of knowledge in environmental and heritage protection.

Like many Quebec organizations, Polytechnique participates in the annual Centraide / The United Way campaign by organizing fundraising activities such as a spaghetti lunch and supper for the Polytechnique community. At Polytechnique, the Centraide campaign also features a number of department- and employee-driven activities to raise funds. The latest campaign was an outstanding success and raised more than $100,000.

Centraide's mission is to maximize financial and volunteer resources. By funding community agencies and working in partnership with them, Centraide promotes care and social involvement in order to improve the quality of life in the community and empower the most vulnerable members to take charge of their lives.

Founded in late 2016, the Poly-FI committee has three missions: to promote engineering among women, to introduce female models to youth and to increase awareness about the accessibility of engineering to children from schools in Montreal's low-income neighborhoods. The Poly-FI committee focuses on four activities :
1- Sponsorship Program with more female experienced students (for 1st and 2nd year students) or female engineers (for 3rd, 4th and graduate students)
2- Tournée Géniale: This important component consists of carrying out scientific activities in disadvantaged primary schools in the metropolitan area. The leaders of the committee present the engineering profession and accompany young people in the realization of a scientific assembly.
3- Wine and Cheese for International Women's Day: Each year, students have the opportunity to discover about fifteen companies from different industries and to discuss with professionals during a lively evening where snacks and drinks are offered.
4- Industrial visits & Conferences: Poly-FI's industrial visits, conferences and panels offer students the opportunity to meet company representatives and discuss with professionals from various backgrounds. Participants also have the opportunity to witness industry best practices while learning more about the job market.
