Polytechnique's Lassonde buildings are LEED GOLD certified (for new construction). A sign is displayed at the main entrance of the first building, explaining its features.

Every first Friday of the month, the public is invited to a visit of the campus, which highlights the green features of the Lassonde buildings.

The Sustainability Office produces short videos on how to manage waste, how to compost, etc. The videos are displayed on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCUhW2ITiiff6-rr6xEGFv_Q) and internal communications are made to promote them (via e-mail and the Facebook page). During the pandemic, a series of videos was released to continue promoting sustainability, even while teleworking or studying remotely :
- How to reduce the carbon footprint while teleworking
- Physical and mental health in telework
- New Sustainable Plan 2020-2024

Since 2017, a Moodle page "L'ingénierie et le développement durable" (Sustainable development and engineering) is open to the entire Polytechnique community. It contains videos, tools and resources, ISO and other standards, etc.
